my id4 also comes with 235 but i'm buying these 245 because some random person on the forums says it fits so.. here i go!
....
I posed it as a question assuming the poster would look into it, so your snarky little response is unwarranted.

Mine takes 245 50-19. So close.

50 vs 55. Would that be okay?

255/45/19 is my Tesla . Any chance I can run these
I wouldn't. Your speedometer will be off too much.

Mazda CX-5. Just saw these are for EVs.. Our EV has much smaller tires.
Yeah the price is great. (Wife also got a CX-5 and I could not find a good deal for the longest time and finally bit the bullet for a few hundred more then this and got the Pirelli As3 plus. Quite happy with handling and wet road control. Better millage versus the Toyo that came from the factory)

Almost impossible to not be better than the stock Toyos! Trash!

for your reference, with some real numbers...

55 series would be 1'' taller
nice size comparison calculator [tiresize.com]

55 series would be 23 revs/mile less, giving you a reading of 67mph at 65mph
speed comparison calculator [tiresize.com]

personally... if you can accommodate the 1'' taller (probably can, only 0.5'' on each side) and don't care about the slight speedo reading difference (you're speedo is probably +/-3mph anyway at 65mph.)

Thanks SD for making me go down a tire rabbit hole. Now I'm probably buying take-offs from Craigslist.

Honda Odyssey Touring will lose ~2mpg with these vs. the recommended 235/55R19.
Not worth the savings in the long run IMO.

Tire Size Calculator Comparsion Online - 1010TIRES.COM® https://share.google/b2qLuKgvMV9yCyjaz

Use this tool for comparison. Stay within 3% or less for safetys sake.

Ended up getting 4 used Michelin defenders that were one size off basically 1/4 inch difference in the height and width from OEM size. New were 10.5/32nds thread depth. These take offs were 9.75/32nds or 95% left. $500 shipped from United tire vs about $1000 for new from Discount tire. I would not recommend buying anything lower than 80% treadwear left unless you are turning in a leased car, etc.
