No Kroger's in PA. I guess it's another redneck thing.
Kroger completely pulled out of the Western Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh markets following a labor strike in 1984. They have not returned to the state, ceding the region to local competitors like Giant Eagle.
Guess it was more of a FAFO option given to local Unions! Winning!! No Boston Butt for PA!!
I miss the $1.99/lb a few years ago...if I didn't already have one still in the freezer from February I would have bought one earlier today when perusing my K-Roger...
Please add Kroger to the title. I know, they're huge, but we don't have them everywhere. Also, you're missing out on reaching people who have Kroger alerts set.

Thank you for sharing. Getting brisket this low is a once or twice a year opportunity these days.
We have some restaurant commissary stores that sell retail too. Boneless pork butt or picnic cushions are $1.99 # that's the regular price. But pork butts average 20# though.
