Got lucky and picked up the 77 G5 for $2313 with tax, delivery and EZ wall mount. I also ordered the C5 for for $1640. I'm going with the G5 for the better brightness for reflection in my open living room. I think the five-year warranty and extra price is worth the money.
Also have the 83 inch C5 on order for $2300 just in case they say the G5 is back ordered

I was like you, till I put a 77" and 83" side by side. Sitting 10 to 13 ft away, the 83" MADE AN IMPACT. Enough for me to return two tvs to wait for an 83" C5 sale. While LG screws me for months without my refund

Source: I own a 2017 65C7, 2021 77G1, and most recently a 2025 65C5. I recently moved the C7 from my office to the bedroom and replaced it with a C5, and my wife can't tell the difference. I only did it because I wanted an OLED in the bedroom and I game in the office, but visually they are damn close despite being 8 years apart.

same, only seeing 2600. I called for an adjustment, no luck. They asked me for a screenshot of this offer being advertised, and that should it drop again within 14 days i can get it adjusted. Did anybody have success getting LG to lower the price ? (over the phone or chat ?)
