A hybrid's engine might not need oil specifically engineered for it but there can be advantages.
If correct, Mobil 1 today is better.
Been using Mobil 1
On my first change with the Valvoline and my Ford hybrid Atkinson cycle engine has never been as quiet when it runs. Had been running the Kirkland prior to that. Keep in mind these jugs are probably years old stock at this point, I think mine were late 2022 maybe early 2023. Still within usable guidelines but something to be aware of.
