Its a prediction a average person wouldn't be able to predict accurately without "insider"/industry information.

I'm surprised that its being discounted more. IMHO they probably will get discounted more, I've seen sales and then even more discounted sales after the first sale. In my experience that is an indicator of sales slowing down even after the first sale.

Best buy is ran a $150 discount a few weeks ago, stopped it for 1 week, then offered the same sale this week.

If you don't need it right away, you can wait and see what happens.
