I got one from here last time. Liked it a lot so I bought a cloud sheet and now I'm looking to buy a second sheet if it goes on sale

The Cloud Sheet is expensive, but it's totally worth it. How did your energy bill look afterward?
We bought two during the GMA deal in March 2026 for about the same price and use both every night. Our electric bill went up about $100 in April and $150 in May. The only real change has been adding the BedJet.
We're currently testing with energy-monitoring smart plugs to confirm, but even if it is the BedJet, the comfort is absolutely worth it.

Cloud sheets tend to go on sale twice a year. There was a sale in March, next one likely October.

Is that right? I asked Gemini about it and this is what it said:

"Assuming average US electricity rates (around 16 to 17 cents per kilowatt-hour) and running the unit for 8 hours every single night:
  • Using Cooling Mode: It will cost roughly $0.50 to $1.50 per month.
  • Using Heating Mode (All Night): It will cost roughly $4.00 to $8.00 per month.
Unless you are running multiple units on maximum heat 24/7, the change to your electric bill will be barely noticeable."

Do you need the sheet if you only have one unit?

I purchased one in 2024. I didn't buy the sheet. I purchased a button duvet from Amazon. Works great and much cheaper.

Personal preference. You don't *need* it but many people much prefer it. There is a 60-day return policy to try it out.

It makes a big difference. Helps with not making your feet too cold/hot from the direct air and spreads the air more evenly. I haven't tried a duvet cover but others have with success as already posted.

I love my Bedjet. I can't imagine living without this. It helps me sleep comfortably. IF I win the lotto, all my family would be getting this for Xmas.

We're running two units about 8–10 hours a night while we sleep, mostly on extended heat.
I did a quick test this morning before work and saw 0.041 kWh over 5 minutes. Using that as a rough baseline, that works out to about:
  • ~3.9 kWh for 8 hours
  • ~4.9 kWh for 10 hours (per unit)
  • Roughly 122–153 kWh for the month (May) per unit
My all-in electric rate is $0.11759/kWh, so that comes out to:
  • About $14–$18 per month per unit
  • Or roughly $28–$36/month for both
That said, my wife also uses Turbo Heat and regular Heat sometimes, and I don't have numbers for that yet, so real usage is probably higher.
At this point, it seems like the BedJets are definitely adding to the bill, but probably not the full $100–$150 increase on their own. It's likely a mix of that plus other stuff (AC, seasonal changes, etc.).
Still gathering data and will do a full overnight test next.
I asked because I was curious what other people's real-world experience has been with energy usage on these.

My wife and I save over $200 by using 2 different blankets and changing them out depending on the weather. Save on electricity by not running these.

Our energy bill went up $100/month+ when we got ours. We use heat when we get in. I didn't realize how expensive it would be to run these when I bought it.

We haven't noticed an increase in our energy prices but it also allows us to let our house get significantly colder at night during the winter and slightly warmer during the summer.

Isn't it just a fan running?

edit: I didn't realize these have a heater built in also, that can certainly rack up the bill if you run it too much
