What's with construction jacks being all the SD rage the last 6 months or so? Never really noticed them in the wild before, and now all of a sudden these jacks from DeWalt and Irwin are on sale here every other week!!

Because peeps found out you can use each 1 to lift mother in laws feet, so you can vacuum the carpet.

The DeWalt lift action is reversed. Meaning you push down instead of pulling. You gain more leverage since you can use your foot to step down to engage lift.

There may be some other benefits as well, but I think that is the main one.
