Good stuff but go cordless. The cord is the biggest pain point--I hate maneuvering the cable over my shoulder and often times prefer to wash & polish outside.

No. I have a Griots that was roughly the same price when on sale. Griots puts them on sale at Christmas and possibly Father's Day (I haven't received a notice about one yet however). Griots seems to be very popular for shade tree detailers. This is just my two cents however.

I have a similar chemical guys Torq Polisher and it does wonders...more surface area to do areas such as doors, hood etc. For smaller and curvier areas you will still need something smaller.

I wouldn't, but I guess it depends on how long you expect to own it.

my griots I think random orbital is probably 15 years old and will continue to work for years. You aren't going to get that from a cordless. Every company is great about battery upgrades that are physically different than the last gen.

I polish outside as well, just with an extension cord.

the HERCULES 8 Amp, 6 in. Forced-Rotation Dual-Action Polisher is a beast and a killer deal when it goes on sale

I have a Porter Cable and highly recommend them. I use it twice per year and it works well.

I have a rebranded PC7424 from 2005 that is still going strong. Maybe once a year to wax but does great for glass polishing.

I don't think I'll bump into an issue finding batteries for my Milwaukee M18 polisher anytime soon.

MY OPINION, the griots garage is a much smoother, quieter, run less hot, and more ergo than the adams. I sold the adams after 2 jobs.

Does your Milwaukee have a lifetime warranty? My groits polisher does. My cord went bad. Called them up, a real American person answered the phone and they shipped me a new one without issue.
