If you like XCOM or similar turn-based-tactics games (Jagged Alliance, Silent Storm) you will probably like it.
It is definitely harder than Mechanicus, though, which is another "XCOM but Warhammer 40K" game. So don't feel bad if it's too much of a challenge at times.
