The 270k plus bundle is the better deal (either 270k bundles), but people are too stuck in brand loyalty mentality and misunderstanding the gaming differences in most games.
$130 cheaper
+82% FASTER in multi-thread
+8% FASTER in single-thread
-9% SLOWER in gaming (1440p, who is buying high end CPU to play at 1080p or lower? IF you have an RTX 5090) andthe gaming gap shrinks smaller and smaller with weaker GPUs. So like a 5070 build the CPUs will perform the same at 1440p or 4k in most games.
ALSO The 270k builds comes with faster RAM 6000->6400 and a better motherboard chipset B850 (midrange) vs Z890 (premium) https://www.microcenter.com/produ...ild-bundle
Thanks for the deal. I want to build a new PC is this going to last me a while?
Depends on what you use your PC for (can you give us more info? Gaming? Graphic design? Office work like say Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint et cetera? Just standard use the internet type stuff?) ... sadly with DDR/ram prices being ridiculously high deals like these are probably the best you're going to get compared to the pre-AI "I will gobble up all memory in sight increasing the prices for ram/hard drives" era we were enjoying previously ...

Just bought it the other days and put my system together. Absolutely love it. I also got NVidia RTx 5060ti GPU with 16gb for AI models and could not be happier.
Finally, did you know they have a trade in system? For example if you purchased a video card from them before and later down the road do you want to upgrade, you can bring the old one and they will give you quite a bit of credit if it's passes their tests (to make sure it works) just FYI

$2,499 - $680 =$1,819.00. A 5080 currently goes for $1300. So $1819 - $1300 =$519.00.
The rest of the stuff adds up to about $519. Case, PSU, AIO water cooler, 2TB SSD, Win 11.
No point in wasting time building it.

they go for ~270-280 on ebay per 32gb, and ebay will take 14% cut on top, so you'll get like 220-230 - shipping.
Too many MC bundles. They keep these crappy 36cl planks relatively cheap on fleabay.
