If I ever spend $175 on 4 steak knives, please shoot me in the back of the head.

Should we use expensive ammo?

For whatever reason, you'll find that non-serrated steak knives cost way more than their rigid counterparts.

Once you go non-serrated, there's no going back.

I splurged on kan steak knifes when they were half off a couple of years ago. Was super hesitant, but everyone loves them when we use them.
I just wait for their half off sale ($100 for 4) and buy them 4 at a time.

I'm from camp serrated. A sharp, durable, serrated knife still creates a different texture and one that I prefer. I actually don't like the super smooth cut on my steak, which I assume these provide. They are a conversation piece at $175, I'll give them that.

I hear that the new synthetic meats can be cut with a fork. Knives are no longer necessary.

I can't afford steak, let alone these knives. Give me pulled pork, and a plastic fork.
