That said, this product is the greatest pedal release possibly of all time for the price. But you are going to want to budget buying a bunch of 3rd party packs. While this comes with a lot of usable tones. V2 models from IKM have been limited and 3rd parties offer better captures of amps. So the price starts to drive up. Worth it at full retail, but getting discounts is icing on the cake.
So if you are trying to put together sounds then bring them to a live gig YOU CANNOT. if you are ok with just the presets then its a great pedal

Also just my two cents: The tonex approach of using AI for modeling delivers good results for this price, but in my experience it feels even more unnatural than regular modelers. These AI models hallucinate dynamics, feels really weird especially with the high gain models. When I wasn't playing it felt like I had a monster on a leash, and playing unleashed this monster and it did a bunch of things dynamics-wise I wasn't expecting.

1) It is a one and done purchase with access to far more tones than any other modeler or pedal ever made
2) There is no subscription
3) Regular modelers are trash compared to the realism of Tonex (when captured properly). It doesn't represent some idealized toned down version of an amp like a modeler does, it sounds like a warts and all approach of actually trying to capture an amp and the result is far more realistic
4) High Gain sucks and by nature is not dynamic - it can't be because of the way clipping works
5) I've been recording real tube amps for over 30 years and have had access to literally the best guitar amps in the world, Tonex isn't perfect but it is literally the closest approximation of actual amps in the digital realm that has ever existed irrespective of price. It isn't 100%, but it is close enough for the vast majority of players and the fact you can actually play it at any volume makes up for some of those losses/differences.
It has free access to more tone models than you can use in a a lifetime. (access to over 25K different captures at no additional cost)
However, you also have the option to purchase specific things from IKM or 3rd party people if you prefer the way they capture or you want a specific amp.
