I bought some t380s and they stopped working about two miles away. 25 mile maybe if you have line of sight.

These are good for multi-car road trips or for close neighbors, but effective range is generally less than half of what's advertised unless you're on flat, open surfaces. If you're "prepping" go for the Baofeng radios and get your ham radio license.

if they supported USB C I wouldn't get one.

T110 and T125 use AAA batteries (not included)

T275 and T380 use Micro USB charges.

T110 and T114 are functionally the same radios, just different colors.

Really useful if you're on a cruise or have very poor cell reception. Using three AAA batteries is ideal because you won't have any downtime by carrying spares.

Is this still the same Motorola that made the best 2 way radios or is that long gone?
