Good to know, but unless you live in an area without extreme weather, this is an incredible deal in my opinion
I don't think you stated that correctly LOL

This is a polycarbonate roof with vents. Vastly different than single pane plastic roofs.
What are you saying? I don't know if that helped me understand anything

Can those calling this junk at least recommend something around this price range?
I agree calling this junk for $499.00 isn't fair. It's probably the best you can get for under $1K. Reviews are fairly solid too.

Polycarbonate roof with vents will hold up a lot better.

Then we can agree it's great for the price? Not everyone can afford a 2k gazebo
Depends on if you can afford to replace this one every couple months then. 🤷

You'll break even with a quality one fairly quickly

I'd bet my net worth you've never had or observed one with a roof like these. The roof panels on these are rather durable and long lasting. I've had one with the same type of panels outside of a restaurant for nearly 5 years and the only issues we've had are people pulling the curtains causing the eyelets to blow out. We have 3 on a covered patio, 2 are plastic roofs and one is a metal one, metal is hot in the summer and nearly intolerable over 80 degrees.

Replace it every couple of months? Talk about hyperbole.

The aluminum body is good but the roof is the weak point here. Ideally, galvanized steel is the way to go for long term durability IMO.

I've had a greenhouse made out of similar polycarbonate panels for 10+ years. No damage from hail or even a string trimmer. That roof will probably last 5+ years before it becomes an issue.
