I bought this or a similar brand last time. I had never had a ratchet belt before and I like them a lot!

I have multiple versions of these belts. My oldest son wears them as well. Have never had problems with them or the ratchet system. These are not real leather and probably not designed for the construction site. Great for business casual use.

I would advise you to avoid these. The material the belt is made of is super thick and not very flexible and wide which makes it hard to fit into some belt loops, especially the first loop which usually has to fit the belt twice because of overlap. Also the way to release the belt is the tiny tab on the side which is more difficult to use than the traditional buckle lift kind.
pretty sure belts like this are common for ccw which is why they're different from typical belts and difficult to release so they can keep everything in place. These appear to be kore style knockoff belts.

I purchased this last month since I always wanted to try out these ratchet belts. Agree the belt is thick, but it has to be thick to accommodate the ratchet system. I haven't worn it yet as I tend to wear lighter pants in the summer and it would be better suited for one's heavier winter pants. So far haven't encountered any problems with inserting the "double" belt into the first belt loop or finding the tiny release on the bottom of the buckle.

I bought these back in Feb, and have only used one of them. It is a bit stiff, but I have had no problems with it coming loose. I like the release latch, also. The belt may be tight on some loops, but I haven't had any problems with jeans.

I've had one for over a year and wear it almost daily. It's terrific; the buckle is much easier to release than a normal one.

yeah, they're pretty rigid but not that wide that they won't fit. The rigidness is fine, won't prevent you from using a belt for what it's for. Just a little weird when you lay your pants down with the belt in it.

Works great. $17 off $34 for the larger size. Spent some credits I had for a trial cost of $0. In for a set!

How long does a 6 dollar belt have to be.

I've been wearing mines for a few months with jeans at work and holding up so far. I've never used ratcheting belts before but I like them and not switching back to traditional belts. Can't complain for $8 each after tax.
