Got one in North Tampa Bay area, showed $999 online and one in stock at my local store, but in the store the dynamic pricing shelf tag on the secure shelf case showed it on clearance for $699.
Which store?

You sure it was the ti version? 599 for the ti sounds completely unheard of
It sure was! It was on sale at Walmart of all places. It was in Oct before things went really nutz.

Legit! Been waiting over a month for a good deal on a 5070ti. I need two.

Got one at a local best buy, deal shows up! And then paid for one at a farther store that only had 1, and now it's on hold while I drive over there.

Most local stores only show 1 or none in stock. So cali.
SLI? just kidding, haha.

Right, the price doesn't show online, in store only but we've seen multiple confirmations from people (mostly California and Texas) so I'm pretty sure this is every US store and not YMMV. If you would like to wait and pick it up next time you're in the area, you can order it for pickup for $1,000 and then cancel and buy it for $700 when you get there. Here's the Reddit thread for more info before deciding to make the drive or not:https://www.reddit.com/r/gpu/comm...t_bestbuy/
That's right. I tried to visit store to purchase it but they don't have it in stock. I was able to place an order for pick up at a different store for $699. Thanks OP for posting this! I was a day away from purchasing 5060ti 16Gb for $580 😁

Instore online on the show. It's the electronic price tags that flipped early I think. Labor Day sale and it's instore only

Is it an upgrade if i already have 3080ti? Just for light gaming and running local llm (glm4.7/qwen-vl)?
This is a card for 4K/high refresh rate gaming in demanding titles so if light gaming means 1080p/120hz esports titles, then no. I'm sure it would be 40%+ more powerful for your llm, but only you know if that speed is important to you. Since you even have to ask, probably not worth $700.

Thanks for posting this, I reserved one. So does this only work if they have a $700 price on the shelf or it might ring in at $700 on its own and I ask them to check at time of pickup?
