Yuck, why spend this much money on a card that doesn't have 16GB of VRAM.
What are you talking about. Post says 16GB

So the purchase online to hold the item and then cancel the order before going in asking for it in-store, that seems to work? Does anybody ever get any pushback from an employee? Or do you think its best to ask somebody there if they can take your online order and cancel it so that you can purchase it at the in-store clearance price?
If I cancel the order, it shows as back in stock immediately or after a few minutes?

Thanks for posting this, I reserved one. So does this only work if they have a $700 price on the shelf or it might ring in at $700 on its own and I ask them to check at time of pickup?
At mimy store it showed 700 in the computer. Wasn't even on the shelf .

Legit! Been waiting over a month for a good deal on a 5070ti. I need two.

Got one at a local best buy, deal shows up! And then paid for one at a farther store that only had 1, and now it's on hold while I drive over there.

Most local stores only show 1 or none in stock. So cali.
Which two locations had it for $699?

I was able to pick up the last one in Corona, CA. Thanks OP!
For $699? That's the store I visited and it was $899 in person.

Picked up the 5070 version of this from Walmart. If they use the same fans they're not silent and have this weird bearing noise. Many others have reported this on reddit, just a heads up for those that care about noise levels.

I feel horrible for all those scalpers that don't even know what a graphics card does, having to waste valuable time to actually drive to a Best Buy. This cannot stand.

My son and I built him a new PC this last fall and this was the card I found. Got it for $599. It has performed flawlessly over the last 7 months.

He games with it but primarily for his architecture classes. Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, plus a variety of 3d renderers.

He graduated May 9th! Woot!
Awesome story. I got one at 598.99 cents!

Discrepancies like this have been so confusing, people say it's not $699 at their store, but I can never tell if they just walked by a shelf and saw a tag that said $900-1,000 (or checked the wrong model) and moved on or if they went to the register and saw with their own eyes on the screen that the deal wasn't valid for them. Maybe a lot of people are reserving online and it will be full price for them and rejected, but it's completely sold out for Texas and California, so it would seem it was valid at all stores.

Congratulations to your son's graduation.
You probably messed up 5070 non-ti and ti version. This ti version has a MSRP $749, non-ti is $549

Picked one of these up last night in southern Wisconsin. They had one left according to the app. 2 other stores nearby also had 1 left, and the employee I spoke to said they were showing $699 at those stores too. This one wasn't on the floor in the pc part case, he had to go into the back and look for it.
