Same question. I see one in a town out of state that I'm driving though on Tuesday, but it shows $999 for pickup.
I guess I could order it and refuse it if they don't give the price.
Got one at a local best buy, deal shows up! And then paid for one at a farther store that only had 1, and now it's on hold while I drive over there.

I do have to say someone updated the Reddit thread and gave the first report of the price not being $700, so I guess it's YMMV, but the reports are 50 to 1 that this price is everywhere.
