Apple Card deal sucks. Instead of Apple Card, get chase freedom card or another card with $200 bonus. Buy AirPods from Costco with it and Spend another $300 grocery shopping within 3 months to get $200 bonus. Basically get your AirPods free from costco with 2 years AppleCare included within 3 months instead of 10 months and no AppleCare

Not really. AP3 have marginally better ANC, but AP2 last longer between recharging. If I had the choice again, I would have kept AP2 and saved my money.

Depends on which version of the Pro 2 you have. I had an early model with the lightning port. I experienced a lot of Bluetooth interference, and because I had had them for over 2 years, my warranty had expired (from Costco). I canceled the ongoing support subscription because it didn't make sense to replace a device with what appeared to be a ton of local BT interference with another device just like it, and used, even if it was by Apple.
I folded and got these at Costco at this price, even though I cringed the entire way until I put them on. They must have new BT radio versions because even though I am using the same iPhone 16 Pro Max, I now have no BT interference with these new AirPod Pro 3. Also, the ANC is significantly better at muting the environmental audio. The music still sounds the same, but with better ANC, I feel like I get crisper highs and more punchy bass.
So, if you want clear BT communication without interference, the newest-generation Airtag built into the case, a loudspeaker on the case, charging notifications, smart charging to 80%, and better ANC, then yeah, go for it.
Because you're getting the warranty included, you are paying significantly less as a combo than the original retail. When you factor in, keeping these for 2 years or more, then the price really boils down to a few latte's a month max.
The case is dimensionally different, however, and you won't be able to swap your old pods into your favorite case.

Same situation for me. Better ANC, transparency, and ear tips made it worth the upgrade for me. I use them nearly everyday including as ear pro during yard work. Pros 2 are great, but these are greater.

Check out Marquee's review on YouTube. In the video he mentions his 2's fell out all the time. With the 3's they made a huge improvement
