Amazon reviews suggest that the connectors are NOT BRASS.
Pay a bit more for brass fittings.

Doing a search online suggests that stainless steel would be better than brass but brass is often chosen for being less expensive. I don't have any prior knowledge on this, but curious if there are other reasons brass should be preferred?
