Prices ending in .00 are store specific, usually the (as expected) last in store. Happens sometimes also when someone returns a random costco.com item that isn't in store inventory, but is to be sold again as new. These are, by far, the best prices the warehouse has. Better than .97.

This is a good deal but .00 is a store specific clearance so it's really a needle in a haystack. Still doesn't hurt to check stock in the app. But know that the app stock status has been wrong on multiple occasions for me for deals.

While you can see the price, it won't show the "last one/few" deep discount price. You'd have to call to confirm they only have one or a few left.
