My opinion is it's bad. Synthetic fibers don't breathe as well as cotton, and make your feet sweat. That's why they need this "moisture control technology" to pull sweat off your feet, but in turn makes your shoes damp and smelly. Better option is to look for a higher cotton % or some people even prefer wool, whatever doesn't make your feet sweat in the first place.

I can't unsee the FJ on the cuff. Walking around like I'm offering or asking for a foot job.

That's as wrong as it gets - cotton is what retains moisture and what makes you feet feel damp and sweaty. And that's WHY people prefer wool because it's a natural fiber but doesn't have the same issues with moisture retention that cotton does without the synthetic aspect of polyester or nylon.

This is ideal so long as you're looking for socks to wear during warmer months and you want your feet to stay dry and comfortable. FootJoy is a golfing apparel company, these are intended to keep you dry first and foremost.

These are great socks. I use them for running and workouts primarily and love the roomy toe box which is hard to find.

My favorite golf socks by miles but unfortunately the wrong size. I play 70ish rounds a year and walk most of them. These protect your heel from blisters because of the roll tab and very well cushioned to reduce foot fatigue.

What I stated was based on my own experience. Your results may vary, and the thickness of the material will also contribute how breathable/sweaty it is.

Your own experience doesn't change the laws of physics. Cotton as a material holds moisture, it doesn't give it off. That's why it's not used for certain types of camping and outdoor/sports wear. Your results aren't going to vary, if you have a personal preference it's just that.
