My favorite part is the shorter, wider aspect ratio which makes watching videos and using the inner screen in general much more useful in my opinion. Samsung and Apple are using a wider aspect ratio in their upcoming foldables and I hope that continues. The wider ones are much superior to the taller ones imo.
One note, end of life for updates is June 1 2028, so you're getting 2 years out of this at most.
Don't buy this thinking you can install grapheneOS to bypass the 2year end of life. AT&T phones have the bootloader locked. (I could be wrong about the bootloader being locked).
The phone was released in June 2023.

This OG pixel fold doesn't support display/video out, making it less useful.
I bought AR Glasses like RayNeo & was disappointed that the pixel fold doesn't support video out, so I bought the pixel 10 fold
Just note that it's also heavier than the pixel 10 fold, despite being smaller. Its actually so noticable that I had to double check with ChatGPT.

Never had an issue with either, no crease, no hinge problems.
But my problem is, I got them both for ~$300-400, and now the deals of stacking trade-ins and coupons have been MIA
Will definitely buy the Fold 8, if I can find a decent deal.

Yeah, Apple is doing this for their foldable, and Samsung is essentially copying Apple. Good stuff. The thin tall 'tv remote' style Samsung has been doing for several generations, and Google switched to with every pixel fold after the first is stupid.
