Can anyone find a zinc level on this oil? Vtwin oil should be very high zinc , I snagged up a case of it about 6 months ago , I've tried to research it I could not find how much zinc is in there!

Zinc: >1,500 ppm (>0.15 wt%)

Edit: Sorry, that is the zinc content in the K&N Full Synthetic Racing Oil, not the K&N Full Synthetic Motorcycle Oil

What's the downside of high Zn

Can't find that either, it just says that it has "high zinc and phosphorous" on their official page.

Anecdotal evidence. We all have stories to tell and other factors are just as important such as frequency of changes, driving habits, etc.

Real world experience on daily ridden bikes. Triple digits several times a week. I kinda ride hard.

Miles between changes are anywhere between 6-12k.

High zinc clogs catalytic converters. On older vehicle engines it's required.

closest two stores to me don't have it, the next 4 closest each have 1. Not really worth it for me.
I was going to buy a few qts to use in my 550cc generator, but need at least 1.25 qts. 5 qts would get me 4 changes, but not driving 30 miles for this. $3 synthetic is an OK price.

This is true, but some of the newest oils in the API SQ spec have done a good job of replacing zinc with other friction reducers that won't clog cats.
