Not sure how this works. I click the button that says View Coupon which gives me a QR code. In the Subway store, I order a 6" for $7 with $2 add-on and when they scan (twice) the QR code it says Invalid. This is less than an hour after I completed the deal, was I too early? Ended up having to use a gc for $9. Thoughts?

I didn't try to redeem mine yet, just bought the gift card today. Maybe because of the add on it didn't work?

So if a footlong sub would be around $3.08 on $7.25/hr., affordable 6 inch subs would be $1.54 each. In states with higher wages, take Washington D.C. with $17.95/hr., an affordable 6 inch would be around $3.80. This deal would best be used there. In CA and NY, this would have to be adjusted accordingly. Thing is, Subway is now making their 6 inch subs $5 in states with $7.25/hr.In actuality, a Veggie Delight footlong sub would be $8.79 each at one Washington, D.C. location and so it may be better to buy footlongs. Off a BOGO deal, that would mean $4.395 each. The affordability would go up to $7.60 for a footlong (multiply a 6 inch price by 2). Then one could play it up depending on other subs they would rather choose up to $7.60. With the deals on this site, $12.99 for two and $13.99 for two, would still get one down to just under $7.60 for each footlong. If allowed to stack with this gift card using the above example, someone could buy one time using the $12.99 deal and the second time, would have to pay out of pocket along with using the gift card. Really, they would be getting three footlongs and paying for the fourth. Then they would receive the 6 inch sub.
In short terms, this deal would best be used in states where a 6 inch sub is proportioned with the wage. You are getting a free 6 inch sub anyway and so if you use this deal according to that, you could possibly be making out with at least one BOGO deal. Just trying to make the gift card go farther. Good luck.
