Should be a limit on how many you can buy. Scummy scalpers.

Good deal, but I think it's probably better to wait for a local warehouse to have it on sale to avoid a $10 shipping fee.

Interesting, I'm currently using a mid-tier rotary shaver, and was hoping something more premium like this would cut better. I'll save myself the money, thank you!
I like this Braun Series 9, it almost vibrates on your face, it cuts really well.
- I've had the 3 rotary as well, I like the Series 9 better.
- I've had the Panasonic Arc5 as well and really liked it but it was way to loud. The Braun, some might say it's loud but its a different frequency and doesn't seem to be loud by your ears every morning.

How does this compare to Panasonic ARC5? More specifically, does it shave as well and do the replacement blades cost a fortune as well?

After years of shaving with a Norelco, I decided to buy the Braun Series 9 on a previous Costco sale, thinking that the more premium price would get me a more premium shave. I have regretted it ever since. It is a less comfortable shave, and I find myself having to repeatedly go over the same areas to get the job done. Honestly, I can't think of a single thing that the Braun does better, except that at least they have the decency to provide a charger with their razors, while Norelco has gone the cell phone route, and discontinued chargers.

Is this a good razor for shaving a scalp? Would love to get away from a blade setup.
I bought this before I decided to go shaved head, use it for my face mostly. It can do your head, although in my opinion it has a narrow window of growth that it can do it well. For me, 3, maybe 4 days past a fresh shave is it. Any further beyond that and it struggles, although it can still get the job done. I use it when travelling and just do my best to not get behind. If you want to get away from blades then from what I understand, other options are more specialized and better.

I guess you've tried the Norelco-style multi-head shavers designed for scalp.
