Might be an older model. I bought the new stubby model for 99 but only 1 battery.

In between. Good price considering the batteries, but kind of an odd product, IMO.
I'd go with the brushless compact impact wrench for 3/8 size. You're much more likely to be in tighter quarters, and I'm pretty sure this is basically the old 1/2" impact fit for 3/8" sockets.
The 1/2" fastener sizes are usually used in places where you have more room to work. Larger impacts aren't so much of an handicap.
As a primary/first impact wrench, 1/2" is better, overall. You're usually doing lugnuts and the big, strong fasteners that don't get much work.
So ideally, you already have a 1/2" impact and you can justify a more specialist 3/8" because you have demonstrated the need for a smaller impact.

This is the [older] brushed model. If you need a basic impact wrench for stuff might be a good deal if you're also in need of some batteries. But as trza said, the compact brushless one would definitely be a better choice.

The 6 tool set was $200 for several years (even on BF). It went up this year but I'm thinking it'll be $200 sometime soon

Better than most for those looking for batteries; but a middle of the road tool that I (personally) wouldn't spend more than 45-55 if it were solo

I have this tool. It has some uses but they are few. It will come in have a couple times a year. Batteries make it a good deal if you need them.

Good price for the batteries if you can offload the tool only for $30-$40 locally.

Is this one of those ryobi hacks where I can return the tool and keep the batterys?
