I love all the co op games they make. They are fun to play together on the couch. The puzzles are fun. The creators are genius.

I play with my 6 and 9 year old. There's some mild language, I think I heard the "S" word a couple of times. There's also some mild blood, but nothing gory. There are some emotional themes about loss, but it's not overly dramatic. Technically, my 9 year old can handle the gameplay, but it's a pretty frustrating game to play with the 6 year old. He can do most of the gameplay, but certain things, like boss battles, are just too timing intense or difficult for him. My 9 year old ends up taking over a lot to finish the really tough parts. Overall, it's a really fun game that pulls off a lot of interesting gameplay and art styles. There are also some very funny moments and a lot of references sprinkled throughout.

My adult daughter got this for us for Christmas and it is an incredible couch co-op, maybe the best we have ever played. We have finished it twice, swapping characters. We have now started our third play through. Do not hesitate on this, it is that good.

It might be a bit intense in parts for a 6 year old, and some of the sections (like the jet pack portions) can be hard to control, but you get infinite lives and they're very generous with checkpointing so in that way it's great for kids.They might say "shit" once or twice but I don't remember any unreasonable vulgarity.

Echoing what others have said. Content wise the violence is generally cartoonosh and reminiscent of various old school video game genres (side scrollers, platformers, etc). My 5 year old watches me and my cousin playing, so the occasional S-word are actually really jarring because the rest is the game is pretty kid friendly.

I play this on switch 2 with my wife. Its worth it. The game is really cool with lots of great ideas. Definitely can become a little difficult at times and would be a little frustrating but the game isn't hard.
