Woots current MSI refurb sale is only ~10% less than buying brand new from MSI.
Hard pass on these.

My brand new Legion was like $4172 and the only thing different I can spot is really the Intel Ultra 9 285K vs this 9950X3D. Is that worth $300 and refurb?

I think you need slower FPS instead so you use the computer longer

I also picked up the legion deal but would prefer this deal. The 9950x3d is generally a much stronger CPU for gaming and with this one you get standard parts not OEM specific ones. The OEM motherboards have less standard settings to mess with and are generally a little behind with bios updates. That being said I did not get this for gaming and I got work to pay for it so its not worth the hassle for me to redo everything and we have tax exempt status at Lenovo and it would be a pain in the ass to get everything done for this deal.

If you are spending this much money and with these components, I would definitely spend the extra on the X3D CPU if your planning on gaming with this PC.
