You should avoid anything from Barcalounger. I ordered swatches from them and other manufactures from Costco. Barcalounger uses a very thin leather, just about a half of leather thickness comparing to the other manufacturers.

You should avoid anything from Barcalounger. I ordered swatches from them and other manufactures from Costco. Barcalounger uses a very thin leather, just about a half of leather thickness comparing to the other manufacturers.

I don't know if this is the exact same one but it looks identical (including the little USB panel and the feet) to the one I've had for at least the past 5 years (I just can't remember where I got it). It looks and works today just like the day we got it and that's with over 1,000 hours of use (even by 250lbs+ users).

All things being equal, I think that I personally would rather spend the additional $50 and get the Weslin Leather Zero Gravity Power Recliner (also $250 off right now.)

lol, no, it wasn't. I was on the hunt for a leather recliner for last two years, outside of ymmv clearance, that never happened for any brand for a leather power recliner.

Another one that's looks good but it's too short for me. I see a lot of men my height walking around, why isn't anyone making nice recliners, and putting them on sale, for folks around 6'4".

Just for the zero-gravity (horizontal recline) feature? Or something else?

Trying to make a choice myself... I don't know either brand, but the Barcalounger chair looks nicer to my eyes, and these would go in the movie room so I don't have much use for a fully parallel recline.
