Worked but Be Aware of Low Voltage Output
We were excited to have these rechargeable 9V batteries. We charged them overnight and were worried at the low full charge voltage of only 8.2V. A fully charged Alkaline 9V battery should display a voltage reading between 8.4V and 9.6V. If the reading falls significantly below this range, it's an indication that the battery is nearing depletion and requires replacement. We measured a brand new alkaline 9V battery, and it was 9.6V. The HW Store batteries are a different chemistry or Li-Ion and dont achieve a level of 9V. -- LOW VOLTAGE: All four HW STORE rechargeable batteries measured only 8.2V even after several hours of overnight charging. Li-ion, which is the chemistry of these batteries, has a lower voltage than the alkaline type which and can be as low as 7.2V. See the attached picture. -- MAY NOT WORK IN ALL DEVICES: You will have to try these in the device you intend to use them to be sure the lower voltage will work. I installed the HW STORE batteries in a stud detector, which worked fine. -- FIT WELL: We installed a battery in a very tight battery compartment, and the batteries fit fine. See the attached picture. -- GOOD CHARGING STATUS LIGHTS: The provided charger has an LED for each battery indicating charge status. Green for full and red for charging. See the attached picture. -- LIGHTWEIGHT CHARGER MOVES EASILY: The small charger will move around and slide off a table edge simply from the weight of the USB cable. One will need to double-sided tape the charge to secure it. -- SAVE 100s OF DOLLARS: An average price for a single Energizer is about $4, and this HW STORE battery is $6.75 ea but can be recharged up to 1000x, so 100s of dollars savings over buying multiple alkaline batteries. Conclusion: It will probably work in your 9V devices with its low voltage.

I was wondering how they handled the lower or higher lithium voltage (2S = 6.8v to 8.4v, 3S = 10.2v to 12.6v). This can be solved with an onboard DC-DC converter to keep a 9v constant output like they do on AAA / AA rechargeable lithium batteries to keep a stable 1.5v but it doesn't sound like they're doing that here.

Avoid.
