The 98 inch QM8K stands out as a very bright mini LED TV that fits large, sunlit rooms and delivers a big step up in picture quality, dimming zones, and bezel design over cheaper TCL models. It is described as especially strong for daytime viewing, with impressive results after calibration and a picture that works well for 4K Blu ray movies. The main caveat is value, since the QM7K is often framed as close in performance for less money, and the Best Buy installation experience has ranged from smooth to frustrating. A strong fit when size and brightness matter most.
