Qm6k through qm9k. If you have a bright room. Qm8k or qm9k. 6 and 7 are good especially if you have darker room cause you save some money. For me I dont need the top of the line but pretty close and this is the sweetest spot.

Do not buy large TVs from Best Buy based on installation. You'll likely have, at a minimum, numerous cancellations of visits, and ultimately silence from Best Buy requiring order cancellation. Personal experience (3 unilateral cancelations with no notice involving a 98qm8k) plus numerous comments here and elsewhere.

Just bought this last month for the same price. BBY did a great job installing. TV is unbelievable. I've had TCL's high end models for 5 years now...each year going larger. This 98" is phenomenal in my large bright living room with 20' ceilings.

I can't comment on the 98 inch version but I got the 85 inch version in January and it's been amazing. I use it in a bright room where the mini LED really shines over OLED. With proper calibration, it's really impressive.

7 is already plenty bright to overcome a bright room. 8 is even brighter. It's nicer to have but the best value is in QM7k.

Yes. It's a lot better than the QM6K Pro. But idk about 2x better (1500 vs 3000)

Pretty positive that all the "pro" gets you is a backlit remote + insurance from Costco. I bought the a 65 and 75 incher from Costco back during holiday season. I am trying to find replacement remotes with the backlight to no avail.

Is this TV really $1700 better than this 98" TCL Mini-LED TV? I don't get paying more than twice the price for the same brand, size, refresh rate, and type of TV, when it can be purchased for $1300.

This has always been the sale price since black friday. Got mine during superbowl. Listen, the qm7k is the best bang for your buck. Why did i buy a 98" qm8k? Because it has more dimming zones, slighty brighter, and it has a cleaner minimal bezel design. Buy what works for YOU and your budget… do your research. I have zero issues with my TV and had zero issues with best buy installing it. People are quick to complain, but you don't hear the good stuff.
My living room is extremely bright so it is hard to see during the daytime (one reason for me to get it), but fortunately i mainly use it during the evening. For me, it was worth the 1k for a bit more brightness and the minimal bezel design. Costco qm6k is a great deal if you are just a normal user. The tech (and why this TCL lineup is getting popular) is VERY good compared to any TV that's a few years ago. You can't go wrong with it.
