I have not seen any pellet grill that low for a while. Maybe $180-$200 for something similar. But $120 would be great!

Bummer, I was hoping this was just a smaller version of the highly regarded 36" but looks like you need to get the Pro for the quality/value. I'll stick with the traeger deal from a few weeks ago.

Waiting for the day they make a pellet grill that can impart the flavor of a wood smoker. My Pit boss just can't do it

I had the Pro version of this and it was returned within a year. The temperature accuracy AND control are both really bad even after attempting calibration based upon some YouTube videos. I can only imagine how bad this one would be but could totally be wrong and/or it could be a different manufacturer. Just sharing my own experience.

I used to have a pellet grill, and despite being easy to use, I found it to be highly unsatisfying. There are lots of different types of pellets, but everything tasted the same to me, probably because most pellets are predominantly alder with oak/hickory/etc added for "flavor". Plus, cleaning the grates and drip pan and clearing the fire box of ash was just a pain. The pellet grill I had didn't have a controller that could tell when the fire was out, so if the wind blew out the fire, it would just continue feeding pellets. I was always much more satisfied with just a plain Weber kettle with charcoal and wood chips. A charcoal snake can reliably hold 250 degrees for a loooong time. A pellet grill will almost always get up to temperature quicker, but a chimney starter for charcoal works pretty fast, too.

What Pit Boss do you have? I have a Pit Boss Kamado and it smokes just fine, it's just difficult to control the temp; always have to keep an eye on it. I'd been thinking about getting a pellet grill but based on the comments maybe not!

"portable" lol

This one below is much better. The ability to put small chunks of wood in will add so much more smoke flavor. This is the only one that offers this except for the much much more expensive wood wind pro.
