Found this laptop on sale again figured I'd post this, says there are some in stock. I will personally try price matching with Micro Center. Hope this helps others that were potentially looking as well.

Reassuring to see in spite of all the doom and gloom with RAM prices, a 5090 laptop can still be had for the 3K mark !

Any particular reasons you prefer to buy from MicroCenter vs B&H ? Is it because of the super strict return policies of B&H ?

Yeah pretty much, been reading that B&H is pretty tough on returns and I live only 45 mins from Micro center. I can also try Best Buy's.

I currently have this laptop and it is, by far, the best gaming laptop I have ever used. Virtually silent when in regular use and bearable noise when gaming, it doesn't overheat at all while not sounding like a jet engine like literally every other laptop I had before this.

How's the battery life on it?

Battery life is so so you can't expect good battery on gaming laptop, around 2++ hours of normal usage. I have the 5080 version.
One annoying thing about this laptop is it doesn't work well with 100W usc charger, the laptop become unusable cpu throttle heavily reaching 1.5ghz only, consume 15W cpu + 25W gpu. I have much better experience with Asus gaming laptop using 100w usc charger it auto config power profile to use almost 35+65W combined for CPU GPU, decent performance when you don't want to bring a huge 4lb 300W charger around.
Otherwise top 3 gaming laptop on the market I would say. Been using Legion gaming laptop since 2022.

nonexistant lol. I'd say just enough for you to save your work and find a power outlet and that's the only downside on this laptop, but I bought it as a desktop replacement, so the battery life doesn't really matter to me here, as even with the dedicated gpu off, I still couldn't go past 2 hours of web browsing.
