I have a 9.26" Volam w/o Netflix. It's great value but there are a couple of issues with it. It has Android Auto connection issues if your phone has Android v16+. There is a fix but it's not easy to find. Also, the backup camera image is stretched full screen and has only 90 degrees of coverage (170 claimed). This means you can't rely on it showing you things either side of your car.

Note that the 9.26" version has front and rear dashcam functionality, and it's cheaper at only $65 rn. I'd take that over Netflix any day.

I own a different brand comparable screen. The onething I don't like is that for phonecalls it uses the internal microphone, not the cars mic. Result is horrible at higher speeds.

Pro tip, anyone with an older car that has always on cigarette lighter in the front or in the console. I bought this for my daughter with an on-off switch and it works pretty nicely. Like anything else you got to remember to turn it off.

I hacked the power adapter on mine to wire it directly into the fuse box using an add-a-circuit. I choose the fuse for the car radio so it turns off with the ignition. It needs 3A max.

I placed an order yesterday and then canceled it after reading through reviews and other options, such as this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DYJZ5...k_detail_0. There are several products available at similar price on regular basis and has much better reviews. Why is this product getting so much love here, I have no clue.

Id get a unit that replaces your existing stereo altogether. These are mainly just screens. Looks kind of tacky as well just sitting on top of your dashboard. Theyre not much more expensive, maybe a hundred bucks more. Same features but Id recommend something with 6gb+ ram, the more the better.

Do those actually work well with your existing speakers? Do they make easy adapters so you don't have to cut into your wire harness to replace your factory stereo? 6gb+ ram doesn't sound like you're talking about a Pioneer or Kenwood etc kind of stereo.

The screen I have doesn't auto-dim either, however in the settings you can program a a time when you want the screen brightness to adjust. Pretty much I've only needed to adjust that twice a year (seasonally). Dunno if that's an option on this one though.

I own this exact model and it looks great. Only issue is that it comes with a ton of pre-loaded junk that is impossible to remove/uninstall.
