I bought this and I like it. I heard some bad reviews about newer models with either touchpad screen or wifi/app control feature draining the battery too fast. I just needed peace of mind without dealing with too much headache while still being able to use my current key with smartkey. It lights up, has auto lock feature, easy to replace battery. Thing to note is it does come in a different simplified? packaging and not the ones you would see at home depot.

I tried all my local stores for that deal and couldn't snag one. Checked the online price for stores in TX, FL, and CO, couldn't find the deal. This was last weekend.

Deal died fairly quickly. I did a lowes pickup here in central florida and it was ok. I tried getting a second and the deal ended

I rather have my China brand because it comes with a finger print reader and only cost me like $35 on sale, also has the keypad like this too. So I guess if your looking for a name brand not a bad price.
It is the fact that Kwikset allows you to re-key lock without locksmith. Comes in handy and much cheaper for rental turnovers and lost Airbnb keys.

I picked up 2 Kwikset 620s last week at lowes along with 2 Yale Assurance 2 w/deadbolt locks for $50 each. Wonder why all of these are going on deep discount

I could just setup a code on my keypad and give that to a renter or air BNB person and not give them a physical key which is a waste of time and money.

No smart renter is trusting the code only portion of any lock. Keys don't really fail as opposed to the code.

I am not sure what that means, the only way the code fails is if you forget it, lol. The point was that why would I keep creating physical keys if I wanted to Air BNB the place, instead of just generating a guest code for a few days than changing it, thats so hilarious.

A good product, but I prefer the wifi smart deadbolts that you can lock/unlock via phone, check status, and can run on a schedule.

In CO, the Lowe;s in Littleton still has like 15. I picked up 2 a week ago, and online I can still checkout with more at the discounted $60.

I tried to checkout at Littleton with delivery, but the price jumps to $89. I would love a $60 price for it, but can't find locally or otherwise.
