Great price on the 5 device pack for ESET. I don't need it until September but I suspect I can sit on this license and wait to activate it.

I just purchased the 2-Year Bitdefender Family Pack 2026 (15 Devices) but the product cannot be downloaded. Any bitdefender link opens https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/m...ndividuals. Google search results state that BitDefender is not owned by Microsoft but bitdefender.com no longer exists.
----
UPDATE: Chatted with a NewEgg agent. He's able to access BitDefender.com. I activated the product on my phone and installed it on mu PC using an old link. Still don't know why Bitdefender.com opens Microsoft.com.

How much time do I have to activate from the day of purchase? My current antivirus subscription from another provider expires in 6 months. Wanted to get another one ahead of time πŸ™‚

You may want to do a security audit. Bitdefender.com takes me to Bitdefender's web site.

You've got something somewhere rerouting URLs where they shouldn't be going.

I can only speak to Bitdefender....you can stack time on your account.
I've got 431days left on my subscription, i'll probably add a 2 more years to it now.

Everything gets more expensive with time.

Alternatively, "Bitdefender Free" uses the same engine and signatures, with a few less conveniences. The main missing component being the firewall. Windows built in firewall is very capable, but with a horrible interface that makes it (probably intentionally) difficult to work with. You can get around that by using the popular (now free) "Windows Firewall Control" software from Malwarebytes (Google it). It used to be sold as shareware, but Malwarebytes bought the company so they could create a full AV suite, and WFC is also available as a free separate download. Windows Firewall Control is an excellent front end for Windows built in firewall that makes working with it a breeze. All of that being said, the OP's deal is pretty slick indeed if you want or need the hand holding.

How is this compared to Kaspersky Total? I used Kaspersky Total a while back when I signed up for it in the US. I then mostly was outside the US and had no issue with it. Then when it expired, I noticed there wasn't Kaspersky Total anymore as I usually buy the code off Amazon US while abroad but since they banned US users, I couldn't buy it abroad. I think I could buy it abroad but it's called Kaspersky Premium and the cost was much more. I recall buying Kaspersky Total from US website where it cost like $22 or less a year. So I haven't used an antivirus on Windows laptop besides using the free windows defender.

You can stack multiple immediately. My current account is through 2031 now.

Up to 5 years. Any more than 5 and it won't work, other than as a separate concurrent subscription. Through 2031, you're already at your 5-year stack limit (for BitDefender).

I did a lot of research when I decided to switch to a paid product. Kaspersky and Bitdefender were neck and neck. Depending in the reviewer, one would barely edge out the other. For price on 15 devices, that decided me. I have had no hits on my device on web or anti-virus in over 1300 days. But I see sites blocked on my dad's computer every month and I am thankful for this product. πŸ™‚
