How long ago did you transition, with the Kayano 30 the shoe was completely redesigned and as a life long Kayano wearer, the 30-32 make the prior models look like trash lol. 31 is easily the best shoe I have ever worn and I have tried most of the major stability shoes including the Arahi, which was good for running, but less so as a daily wearer for my feet just in general walking and the like. The more rounded bottoms on Hoka are great for actually running or jogging in, but I am not a fan for all day wear.
Also I last tried the Arahi like 3-4 years ago, so it's gone through some pretty big changes in that time as well.
