Worth noting that this is for 24 balls, or ~$2 a piece.

Oh no, why aren't people under 40 golfing anymore?
This is why. At $2 a ball I might as well grab some light scuba gear and hit the water hazards

Buy a sleeve instead of two dozen and then go find two balls for every one you spray into the woods. Never buy a golf ball again.

NGL, $2 a ball for top quality balls is pretty cheap. Beginners can absolutely play nearly perfect recovered balls for 50c a pop if they're going to lose them. On the other hand, greens fees are getting pretty crazy, with $30-50 for a public muni course and $40-80 for non-muni public courses in the middle of nowhere, ballooning to $150-200+ in vacation areas. And the nice courses - private clubs - have initiation fees into the 5 figure range with another $3k-12k/year in fees. I don't think it's a $2 golf ball holding back Millenial/GenZ from hitting the links.

I suspect Amazon is gaming the "only 1 left" notification, because I got the same psychological warfare notice in my cart 40 minutes before your post.

I mean, these are Srixon's tour-level golf balls, and tour-level balls have always been expensive. Pro V1s for example, have been at least $45 per dozen as far back as I can remember (though I've literally never paid that much for balls).

If you want cheaper balls, there's plenty of options:

These are great golf balls. The course I live on is a big Srixon dealer, so I find ~150 of these and similar balls each week. The Z-Star diamond is one of my favorites to play with.

I never bought a golf ball in my life, played about 50 rounds so far.

In a way it's good that I suck at golf, this way I'm not tempted to drop $2+ on a ball. Those matte green Srixon soft feel balls from Dicks were barely over a buck, and I can stink just as badly with those as any premiere ball.

Just used them yesterday and my color blind ass lost them as soon as I hit them except the one time it landed in the fairway
