Yeah, you're going to have to post proof of that.

These SafeRacks overhead garage racks are praised as a sturdy way to reclaim floor space and store bulky or rarely used items above the garage door or workbench. The 4 by 8 size, adjustable drop range, and beefy construction make them useful for plywood, bins, tents, and other heavy gear, and the current $200 two pack is repeatedly described as a strong price versus past sales. Installation is doable for handy DIYers, but it takes careful measuring, stud finding, and patience, and some orders arrived with packaging damage or quantity confusion. A solid garage storage upgrade if you can handle the install and checkout details.

Which really is night and day price-wise. The quality of Gladiator products are good, so I really don't see that big of a price jump for the Costco version.
Those are 2x4. This deal is for 4x8. incidentally, I bought two of those 2x4 and love them. I have two 4x8 Saferacks too.

The shipment arrived today, and—unsurprisingly—the box had completely fallen apart. I was astonished that a company of this size would ship its products in such flimsy packaging; there were absolutely no protective measures in place, and all the steel beams were stacked directly against one another. Even simply inserting a piece of cardboard between them would have prevented the scuffing and abrasion that occurred during transit. It isn't worth the time and effort to arrange an exchange, so I will be contacting Costco shortly to initiate a return.

lol.. a quarter of the size of a single one of the two 4x8ft racks in this deal, so this deal is effectively the same price per square foot of storage 🙄

did anyone else order this and only receive 1? I ordered the white 2-pack, 24-48", on 5/26. But I only received a single rack and looking back the order confirmation shows a single rather than 2-pack. The listing has since changed also. Costco is looking into it, but curious if anyone else had a similar experience or if I somehow missed this changing earlier than the expected end date of the 29th. I was watching for a few days before I pulled the trigger but think I would have noticed if the product page had changed before adding to my cart.

I purchased twice on 5/26/26 and 5/29/26. Each order have 3 tracking # (3 packages: 2 racks and 1 hanging hardware accessories for both racks) when login the Costco website. They are very good overhead garage storage racks. Hopefully, you able to resolve the issue.

Did you have two racks show up or one? I only had one pack and Costco doesn't see this deal for half off two.

This happened to me as well. Did you get this resolved? I'm going through the same thing with Costco now

Great deal, OP! Thank you. I had been eyeing these a few years back when they were on sale for $300 for a pair, so this is even better. Thank you!

Grabbed a pair. Tips for install? I have a drill and basic tools. I do not own any kind of impact wrench/driver or magnets. I read over the instructions and it seems like the best way to do this and ensure you're in the center of the stud is to use a stud finder to locate the joist, possibly a magnet to find the nails and ensure you're centered, then draw a line from one nail to the next. To be extra safe I was thinking of hammering a small nail into the drywall to triple check where the joist ends.
Did you have two sets of racks show up? I only had one and no proof to Costco about this deal.

Finally got done installing. These took me forever and I had done a full set back a few years ago.
They changed the design, mostly for the better
I should make a list of installation tips. But doubt anyone will read this expired thread
