I leave this on a desk that serves as a tech workbench area. There is always a use to plug in a laptop and an iPad or two but most importantly - when I want to charge four lightsabers for kids at once I don't need a power strip and a million separate wall warts.
Since it's always there it catches stray tech that needs charged... picked up a meta quest 3 that'll be used once a week - tossed it on a charging stand plugged into this thing. Periodically charge a handful of video game controllers without needing to have cords cluttering every room.
It's obviously not a practical solution to charge one or two devices. You'll probably be best off to save your time and not enter the postings for charging hubs if you are not at all in the market for one.
For its intended purpose it is an excellent device.
Is mine defective or have others noticed this? I did find other reports of this issue.
Otherwise it wouldn't be able to handle adding more devices properly.
