Good price. This game series gets labeled a "button masher," and game footage does seem a bit chaotic...

playing the first one now on my switch 2. it handles the games smoothly. it is kind of button masher, the fights are epic and feel more like the epic Link the game talks about. You feel more like a champion than a human when fighting. its very fun and you can do so combos etc. the story is very good and i wish totk had more stories and cut scenes like this series.
Its a good game if you liked the zelda games and want more of it

Since it is a prequel, I'm presuming Link isn't in the game much outside of some special instances. Is it still fun playing as Rauru and the other sages?

Glad to hear the story is good, I enjoyed the plot in TOTK.

It's a Musou game, but it has more significance to us westerners because it's Zelda. Musou started with Dynasty Warriors, based on the Three Kingdoms novels. The MCs have godlike powers and have to complete battle objectives on closed maps while killing thousands of enemies. It's a niche genre that makes a lot of sense in Zelda games, and the fights are epic.

I played Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and then again on 3DS. It was fun, but it didn't have as much story as Age of Calamity, the BOTW tie-in. AoC has voice acting and is heavily story-focused, explaining the events of BOTW that took place 100 years ago. This game apparently covers the Imprisoning War from TOTK lore. SUPER excited to play it and get more lore.
