Legion Pro 7i (RTX 5080 / OLED / 2TB) vs. MSI Vector 16 at B&H - Looking for price trends and buying advice for June/August

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy a high-end laptop until mid-August. I've been tracking prices on B&H and found two very interesting configurations featuring the new RTX 5080 (16GB VRAM) and Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX:
Lenovo Legion Pro 7i: Comes with a 16" 240Hz OLED display, 32GB RAM, and 2TB SSD. (Currently looking like the best overall value due to storage and screen).
MSI Vector 16 HX AI: Comes with a 16" QHD+ IPS display, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD.
Right now, the Lenovo Legion seems like a no-brainer because of the 2TB SSD and the OLED panel for a competitive price.
Knowing that major sales events (like Prime Day) are expected around June this year, I wanted to ask:
Do you think B&H or Lenovo's official site will drop the price on this specific Legion Pro 7i configuration during upcoming sales?
What is considered a "historic low" or a realistic target price for this tier of hardware during these events?
Are there any specific coupon stacking strategies (like Lenovo ID, student discounts, or cashback extensions) that I should prepare for to get this significantly lower?
I'd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks in advance!
