This is the 30 pack I assume they are referring to above. 90 cents each on Amazon vs 97.6 cents each on Walmart.

copper shavings most likely. if you have old christmas tree lights that dont work, you can toss those in a fire and it does the same. i bought the 30 pack from the comment because this effect is always entertaining for a group and way easier than christmas lights.

If you plan on cooking anything over the fire, I would not use these. No s'mores or hotdogs. Bought something similar a couple summers ago and the fire gave off a chemical smell for a long time afterwards. Just not worth the risk to use these things at all imo.
