Bought this probably 4 years ago, no complaints, working good with zero issues.

Upright is far better than the one you have to bend down to get the stuff at the bottom. Especially as you get older and you are not as flexible bending down

Also better for not having to dig around to find what you want. Main reason I'm switching. So sick of having to remove half the stuff to find what I'm looking for.

What does it mean that it's only garage ready for freezer setting and not fridge setting?

This is a convertible, you can set temperature to fridge setting instead of freezing temps. But if you set it to refridgerator temps, you cant have it in the garage.

Thanks for rephrasing my question in the form of a statement.
It's not their fault you can't read.

Do we know if this is a re-badge of another model?

I live in the PNW so it doesn't get very cold in the garage. Will it be okay to still run it in fridge setting? I am also going to read on the specs sheet but thought I'd ask here as well.

I have this freezer, got it for about $20 less 2-3 years ago. Door swing is reversible. It's been great for the bargain price, no issues. The only beef I have with it is the shelves are very strangely attached to the interior sides, making them a bit unstable especially if loaded with heavy meats or glass containers. Mine has a little bit of frost that built up around the edges to solidify them 🤣

Mine lasted five months before dying. Got my money back after going through their weird Chinese warranty process (you take photos of the broken freezer snd cut off the power cord). But I will also never buy one of these again.

Above 50°F: The unit runs perfectly. The garage air is warm enough that the fridge's thermostat recognizes it needs to run cycles to keep your food cold.
40°F to 50°F: You enter the "gray zone." The compressor will run incredibly infrequently. While drinks will stay cold, the lack of air circulation can cause uneven temperatures inside, and the oil in the compressor can start to thicken up, causing mechanical strain.
Below 38°F: The compressor shuts down completely because the garage is already at or below fridge temperature.

Direct from my AI buddy. Live in the PNW as well, gonna switch it to freezer in the winter to be safe
