These colorful ceiling fans are probably awesome for kids' rooms, but nowadays I just want a ceiling fan that looks... normal.
I swear I used to think colorful RGB stuff was cool, and now I sound like somebody's dad lol.

Most of these fans require power to be sent to them 100% of the time, even when off, in order to maintain their "memory".
When there is a power outage, even for second, when the power comes back on the unit boots up fresh from scratch and typically default to the light turned on to its default color mode.
So any time there is a power blip you have to go to the remote to switch it back to say warm white from daylight white and so forth, and turn the light off. We had a light on in a room we rarely visit with a fan similar to this where the light was on for a few days after a power blip.
Also, I highly recommend getting a fan that has alexa or similar integration as the remotes are annoying, its much easier to use voice commands to turn off/on a fan or light and set schedules or automations.
