How do you know it's quiet if the deal was just posted today and I'm guessing you haven't even tried it yet?
I'm guessing he looked at the specs. 🤔

From the product page: "Runs quieter than a whisper at under 40dB."

Thats pretty quiet for a refrigerator, but it's not quiet as a whisper.

My brother has no idea how to whisper. Seems to not know how to turn off his vocal cords. I'm betting this compressor sounds similar...

Connection port at the bottom might be another disadvantage, you can easily break it when connected to the power cable

I recently got the BODEGACOOLER 12V Portable Refrigerator, 42Quart (40L) Dual Zone Car Refrigerator, and put it though it's paces for a few weeks earlier this month. But it's $278-ish right now (the price has been bouncing all over the last two months) they've had some coupons too. The wifi worked pretty good from the app, but I don't think it actually uses my network (just point to point).
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CFF9J47K

It's dual zone 30q and 12.2q, you don't have to run both zones. So you could run it as a fridge and freezer or just a 30q fridge or even just a 12.2q fridge. The other models I looked at were generally more equal in size between the two, while this is more like 30% of the full size (and I didn't even need all that).

I thought it'd be great for camping as if I run out of power in my Jackery, I could switch it to a smaller fridge for just my essentials (it won't be cold but I could let the coke and water and gatorade (etc.) get warm and it won't spoilt). Plus, in the extra space in the freezer (it was just some steaks and pork chops), was all water bottles, so I can use those as "ice" to keep either side cool.

I was very happy with its power usage (34° on the big side and 4°-ish on the small side). I did a week just experimenting around with it while driving and on my Jackery. Then I messed with it with a 200W solar panel and that helped me get more time out of it (it didn't always charge it fully back up, but it was enough to probably give me 7 or 8 days instead of 3 (was in the heat in Florida).

They make some smaller ones too, same footprint, they just change the height.

Sorry, I'm rambling, didn't mean to hijack the thread as much as this, but people were asking about zones and wifi and thought I'd mention this.

It really drives me crazy these deals get promoted and get a bunch of people to buy it and they jack the price up but still use the same thread with all the likes to keep selling at the now higher price. If the price goes back down since it's promoted I'll bite. Otherwise since it's promoted i wont just because to me this is shady practice. I know im petty...

Looks pretty big to not have wheels.....
It's intended as a CAR refrigerator cooler where it generally stays plugged into the DC outlet to keep your stuff cold. A set of wheels would send it careening during a drive.
