This PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a compact, 16GB GDDR7 card that stands out for current clearance pricing and solid value for gaming, local deep learning, and LLM tinkering. The 16GB frame buffer, lower power draw, newer frame generation, and standard 8 pin power connector make it appealing versus older refurb cards, and the small PCB can even suit some SFF builds. The main catch is that Best Buy pricing is highly store specific, with some locations showing $599 or $539 while others rang up $419, $309, or about $300. Clearance ordering and delivery also became hit or miss as stock thinned, so the deal depends heavily on the store.
In-store associates can look up the SKU and place an order at the clearance price shown in their system.
Some stores show the clearance price on the shelf or in-store screen, which can reduce checkout friction.
The 16GB VRAM configuration can help with local LLM experimentation where VRAM limits model loading.
The card can fit in an SFF build because it uses a compact PCB and a standard 8-pin PCIe power cable.
Clearance pricing is highly store and region dependent, so nearby locations may show much higher prices or no reduction.
Some stores refuse to place new in-store or delivery orders once the card's ordering option disappears from their system.
Delivery can cost more than the clearance target price, and the game code may not arrive automatically for some deliveries.
The card uses PCIe 5.0 x8 rather than full x16 lanes, which can be a limitation for certain setups.

Also recommending a card for llm with less ram is a joke.
I stopped in today, 6/1, at the BB where I had bought the GPU from and have them checked the price again to see if it has changed so I can get it at the lower price but it was still showing $419.99.
However, the associate said that they can't place order for in-store or delivery on that card any more since that option was no longer available on their system. I guess BB's stock for this card is running low/out and the only way to get it now is if they still had them in stock at the store when you asked, not sure but seems like it.
The 5070 Ti was still available to order @ $699.99 though at the BB in Harahan, LA.

If it shows unavailable online, the stores will not be able to order them.
If it shows pickup available for same day or next day, that particular store has it in-stock.
