Overall a good quality tape. However, As a handyman/ contractor, I find the fractions to be a cluttering distraction. If I am measuring &/ or cutting the materials then I should be able to read the tape. If calling the measurements out to the fabricator, they better know how to read a tape. For the weekend warrior or as a backup tape, this might fit the needs. 25-foot is the shortest length I would entertain. If doing outside work, a 35-foot is more suitable; if available the magnetic tip is a bonus.

Watch out everybody.... seems like we've got a real manly man on our hands here.
Very fair point... I was just messing with ya. My dad's a builder that was once a framer for about a decade before he started building specs of his own to sell and he's been in construction ever since before I was born. I'm 26 now and work as a PM for him and he's 62 and I swear if it was up to him he'd still be using his Motorola contractor yellow flip phone, a piece of legal paper and pencil, a framing hammer and nails and pretty much nothing else to build houses lol. I've tried to bring him into the future but some of you old guys would rather die than start practicing new construction techniques lol

Great deal and tape! Helped me properly renovate the exterior of my house. Going to buy two more of them since I keep losing my tapes whenever I actually need to use them.

i bought a bunch of the 6' and 12' ones during the last HF coupon sale. in theory, i shouldn't be able to lose them all but we'll see.

Somehow I have like 10 of them, but can never find one when needed! I honestly should have bought them from HF, but as per a YouTube video that I saw, they weren't as accurate as other brands. Good enough for rough framing, but not good enough for carpentry.
This is not that good of a deal. You can get a DeWalt 30Ft compact on Amazon for $15-20 all day. Craftsman 25Ft go for $10-15. This is the regular price for a small tape.
